If you’re like me, it was nice to take a break from work last week. This week is turning out to be very busy, so this blog is very brief.
In the blog, Route Db2 Requests to a Specific Subsystem, I described the support that allows you to route work requests by user profile for the QZDASOINIT and QRWTSRVR server jobs.
This has now been enhanced to allow you to route incoming remote command server (QZRCSRVS) requests to also be routed by the requesting user profile.
You will need the Database Group PTF (SF99072 Level 9 for 7.2 or SF99701 level 38 for 7.1) to get this new support. These DB2 Group PTFs were released on November 20th, 2015. This support is in the base operating system for releases 7.3 and 7.4.
