IBM i Access Client Solutions has been available since 2013. IBM is continuing to update and enhance this product on an ongoing basis. The latest version is 1.1.8.3, released in December of 2019. Help → Check for updates will tell you if there is a more recent update available.

Most of you have probably read about the IBM i Access Client Solutions product that was announced in July of 2012; several articles have been written on the topic. (more…)A new Db2 for IBM i supplied procedure is included with Database Group PTF for IBM i 6.1 (Level 12). The procedure, QSYS2.CANCEL_SQL(), can be called to request the cancellation of an SQL statement for a target job.
